I checked the Cathay Pacific website and they do not fly into Cairo. But I work in the travel industry and have access to flight schedules. I just need to move over to my "work at home" station and then I'll see if I can answer this for you. Meanwhile, if you can tell me what month you plan to travel, it might help to identify if there are any direct flights.

Okay, at this time I show that there are no carriers flying from Xiamen (XMN) to Cairo (CAI) via direct route. You will have to change planes and carriers at some point. The most common routing is via Singapore. You can get flights for :

- Xiamen Airlines connecting to Egyptair
- Xiamen Airlines connecting to Singapore Airlines
- Cathay Pacific connecting to Singapore Airlines

Airlines develop new routes all the time, it just depends on how popular the route is. So depending on when you're going to travel, the availability of a direct flight may change. But as of today, I cannot find any examples.
