What do I need to make a Slytherin Halloween costume? I can't seem to find adult Hogwarts robes. Ideas.?

I have Snape's wand at the moment, but I need to find the rest of my costume this weekend. There's a costume contest at my college and I want to dress up. I wouldn't mind scary the little trick or treaters either. I am making my yard look like a giant spider community this weekend.

You could always go to your local Fabric store and make a hogwart robe. Robes aren't hard to make at all.

Did you try going to a store like Target or Walmart and just getting a black robe? You can even cut cloth at Walmart or JoMar. If you do decide to cut cloth, get a thick, black cloth. As for the logo, I think that is hard to come by. Any why do you want to be a member of Slytherin? LOL. Just kidding!

If you are going to dress up as Snape, put lots of gel in your hair(or alternative, don't wash it) . You can make yourself look a bit pale... Or you could look like you've been hit with a hex!(put tenteckles on ur face) :)
oh and for the robes, i guess u can get any witchs dress, i see lots of them)and make it look like Hogwarts(emblems and scarfs).

I know I've seen scarves from the different Hogwarts houses online. too bad you don't have more time. If you found a scarf you could always wear a student outfit of black pants, white blouse, the scarf, hat, and wand.

You can get like dress robes like a black trnchcoat or dress-type suit and wear a blouse under it and a black/dark green vest over that blouse. Then you can wear a silver/gray and green striped tie over the blouse and top it off with black shoes and tada! your very own slytherin costume! :D
THe witches' hat is optional.

a grad. robe and a slytherin emblem..then get a wand and your set!...don't worry..you can get the ez-peel emblems
