if you want to immediatly cancel it...go to help at the top right...type in ..."cancel account" and a link will come up giving u an account deletion page..

I have fully verified and even tried going through help 'account cancellation' but the page as suggest my member above has not come. Therefore the only way for you to cancel your account is to let it lay idle for 4 months after which the yahoo itself would cancel your membership. Hope Yahoo goes through this message and creates an exit also for the future.

You could just leave it alone. I believe after a few monts of inactivity they delete your account
