It seems that the most logical explanation must be that the soul forms simultaneously along with the physical life form from the very first moments of the formation of an embryonic cell.

It seems that the Spirit is pure energy eminating from the brain.
As it has been written "and God breathed into man a living soul".
So whether or not the soul activates the spirit which some people believe or that the soul adjoins and makes a living human with the spirit is another query on the table. Because an example is the spirit remains intact for moments in the body after death, which some consider the pure energy of life source without the soul. That I think is a puzzle that wont be a conclusive finding until we have passed on to another dimension

there is a belief called creationism, which holds that each unique soul is created by God, and is associated with a body at His pleasure somewhere in the development of a new human body. in essence, should this be how a human comes to be, then it is logical that there might be a point where an embryo is not fully human. the point at which the egg is fertilized, would be considered impregnation, and i believe this would be the point of the soul "impregnating" itself into the body. that is just one theory though, there is no machine that can detect a soul in a human, so who knows if there even is such a thing? im sure there is, but theres no telling really where it came from, or at what point it becomes a part of us.

The human spirit is omnipresent. It has no birth or death. It is the body that perishes. One school of thought is that the human spirit enters the body (form) according to its karma in its previous form. The greater the good deeds the better the form you take. In such cases soul may enter the body of a human. If the karmas are too good, it will never have to enter any body and is said to have achieved "Mukti". This is the final goal of all souls. Generally, it is said the soul enters the womb in the 3rd month of pregnancy.

The sole does not exist thus it never does, how ever should I play this game, I would say around month five of pregnancy or more accurately when the two hemispheres of the brain connect along with the spinal cord as at this point the foetus can "feel" albeit in a very rudimentary way and it is physical reaction not really mental.

What you really should seriously dwell on is does the soul exist at all and where?

is it in the arm? if so what if the arm is cut off? Is it in memories? if not then what of people who get amnesia have they lost their souls? at no point is there a soul. How ever when does the foetus become "aware" or rather quasi aware of its existence, then like I said when the brain makes the finale connection between hemispheres.

Soul, to my opinion is a part of a living thing. Do not mix it up with morality, though morals affect the soul. Feelings, emotions and thoughts affect the soul most. The Soul is created at conception and ages with a person. Your Soul dies when you die. No Soul exists after life outside your body or brain, or incarnates into other living organisms.

The soul comes from God because he created it, and it is born when the physical body is born.

And to the person who said the soul doesn't exist, you're an idiot. Of course the soul doesn't reside in one's ARM; otherwise it wouldn't be a SOUL. That's just it: a soul is completely separate from the body; it's a mere accessory to our physical being, an accessory that lasts forever. Spare your kindergarten logic for the sandbox.

the human brain!... there is no "beginning" to consciousness.. consciousness grows more complex as the brain does. YOU decide where to draw the line, i.e. at what complexity of brain you would call someone/thing conscious. but please recognize it as the arbitrary line that it is. a line drawn by a human that just loves to chop up reality and label it.

i don't know what this "soul" thing is your referring to... I've never seen one... so i just assumed you were talking about consciousness.
