I think that Harry dying would really mess up the "love conquers all" theme... So, basically, I think that Harry will kill Voldy, and he will survive. I'm sure that he will have some new sort of loss though. Or maybe he's had enough pain already... argh, I can't make up my mind! Okay, one or the other.
I just pray she's not that cruel!!

i hated how she killed siruis...that was sadder than when she killed dumbledore
i heard something about how she did not want anyone to continue her books, so she had to or something. iseriously hope not because come on! kids read it and they'd all like hate the ending. i usually hate sad endings. also, i thought that the prophesy said that neither could live while the other survives. i guess that doesn't say they both won't die, but doesn't it imply that one of them will live? also, have you considered that maybe voldemort will kill harry (i know its not likely, but only j k rowling knows for sure)

Well, she said she was going to, and it would make sense. She's not planning on writing any other HP novels. Why not kill him off? Shakespeare killed off his main characters quite often, so why can't JK do it?
Anyone who has not seen this site check it out. It's REALLY interesting to read (if you have read all the HP books).

I'm really not sure...I mean, she killed Dumbledore (I actually cried!) and Sirius (I cried then too!). I always thought Dumbledore would be there as steadfast support for Harry but I was wrong, so I just don't know :-s

Personally, I think Harry will come through it alive. I do think we will lose some of the main charectors though.

I heard that she was seriously thinking of killing him off, because she didn't want someone to revive the character after she is gone.
