My original question was about getting more junk mail, but that question was deleted as soon as I posted it. Now...my point is...isn't it nteresting that, that question got deleted... I just find it amusing somehow that they deleted that particular question.

That was going to be my next question . You saved me some wear and tear on my fingertips. LOL !!! We've recieved several hundred unwanted e-mails since joining Yahoo alone . No sooner than we request to be taken off of one junkmail list it has been sold to the next spam advertising group . Yahoo is a nice place to visit but the spammers who pay their bills really should give it a rest .

That is very amusing. I wonder what causes them to delete some questions and not others? I wonder if there are certain "buzz words" that they look for when determining which questions to review or delete? That might be helpful information.
And to answer the actual question, I haven't noticed a lot of spam since I joined, but I do get the occasional spam message

im receiving a lot of spam, advertisment and promoting products, just click the unsubscribed or send to spam or delete it.

There functions on Yahoo mail that can block it.
