"The Exorcist" (the original with Linda Blair)
I also like Stephen King's "Rose Red", which was actually aired as a miniseries. It's a great story about a team of psychics and an autistic girl that investigate a haunted house and find out the evils of the past residents of the home.

I'm not one who watches alot of horror movies. But I can see Hostel wasn't listed. From what I heard and read about that movie, i'm not surprised it wasn't listed. Some of my fav's are Nightmare on Elm Street (inlcuding Freddy vs. Jason), Phantasm, Hollow Man, Carrie. Still have yet to see exorcist. 13 Ghosts wasn't that bad, except for that lawyer gettin split in 2.

It's not really a horror movie, but the scariest movie I ever watched was The Mothman Prophecies. Check it out by yourself around midnight with the lights turned out, you'll definitely be freaked out.

Ok 'The Exorcist of Emily Rose' was the scariest SHI T i have ever seen. I'm grown and i couldn't go to sleep. That movie will really get you thinkin'. Its just not even necessary its so scary!
