Not even because it makes us feel good - that just goes right back to everything being about ME. And that's the key - because life is not about "me." When we give we are reminded of that.

We're going be on the receiving end of good will or help at some point in our lives. However, when we give, we are adding to the world instead of taking away from it.

This isn't to say it's bad to get things or to rely on help. But think of it like a pantry. The amount of giving in the world is finite (although the potential for giving is infinite). Each time someone is giving, the pantry is stocked up a bit. That good will enters the world and leaves its impact. If we can add more to the world than we took, we can always hope that the pantry is stocked if we or someone we love needs to grab something out of it.

Look, If you give, someone recieves. If you think its better to give, stop giving, because the reciever is going to think like you, that giving is better.

It is better to give than to receive because when you give you are not putting yourself first. When you give just for the sake of giving you have realised that everything doesn't centre on you.
When you are focusing on receiving or getting you are narrowing your whole perspective of living and fail to really experience life to its fullest.

at the end of the day, its all about SHARING.

not the giving, not the receiving, but the sharing is what really counts.

Because when you give, you actually receive more than you can see in that very moment

You receive good vibrations from the receiver and that is priceless
