Pick one, Donald Trump, your local plumber or anybody you like if we could get them on the ballot and they could clean up the government, who would it be? Why not someone smart who has the best interest of the American people at heart and won't take the lobby money.

Bill Gates. He contributes more towards human well being than all the bush family + everybody they know + the State of Texas.

I think the local plumber would do better than Trump.

Harry Truman said that the average small farmer was sure that he could do just as good or better a job as president as the man elected. He said that besides being true, that attitude was what made the country great.

I think old Harry was right, the self-styled royalty we get from time to time is really useless. Harry also remarked in a letter to Winston Churchill that only about 10%of the population actually keeps the world running, the rest are along for the ride. Pretty surprising observation for an egalitarian. Winston wrote back that he believed Harry was in error. It's 5%.

I wouldn't mind seeing Howard "Bee-yaaaww!!" Dean run again. He was an excellent Governor to the State of Vermont. Undoubtedly he would lean more to the Democratic side, but as long as we can start taking care of our domsetic issues and not play world police for a few years, that would be wise in my opinion.

Truthfully Mayor McCheese doesn't sound that bad given some of the early choices that we're seeing.

Rudolph Guiliani anyone??? Its time for a compassionate hardass again, someone with charisma!!

Me. I'm an American, and I would have the best interest of my fellow citizens in mind. I wouldn't accept bribes. I would bring back integrity and honesty to the White House just like one of my heroes Abraham Lincoln. I would LOVE the responsibility because I HATE the corruption that is rampant in American politics.

Their party affiliation wouldn't matter one iota, if we could simply find someone who had the good of the country AND IT'S PEOPLE, at heart.
