Because the Conservatives want to control behavior (gays, abortion, porn) and the liberals want to control everyone pocketbook (redistribution of income, welfare, unions, social programs). Make you a deal you can be gay if I get to keep my earned money!!! So I ask you is that DEAL or no DEAL?

Hah! I love "gays and gay-nots". I shall use that terminology from here on out.
There was once a time when the only day where those of us of different sides didn't get along was election day (and maybe the day after). Thanks to talk radio, those days are gone.

When you get around to thinking that it is useless that repuglicans will always hate, let me know. I cannot answer for them but I do know that they do not care when the say things that hurt your feelings. So, vote democratic, tell people to vote democratic and things will eventually get better.
