ive never known a trailblazer motor to go just makes noise when its cold the have teflon sleeve for cylinder linings around 100000 they knock but nothing is wrong just keep driving it if u blew it up find a used one if u can it will be alot cheaper and dealership around here only cost $70 an hour your only lookin at about a $1000 in labor and whatever the motor cost do some shopping jasper makes good motor (new) call junkyards yourself check online for motrs too ebay
