well, i really think it depends on your style of play. and your preference.
i eman, no point getting a stick that everyone says is the best ! , then find out that it;s too light for you, it's not durable enough for you.
or they dont have the curve that you want ( if it;s a one piece)
i;d say politely ask around and try your friends's sticks for a feel of the different brands, then,
compile this data,
1) what flex you want,
2) color , haha not like it really matters
3)curve type
4)weight
5) does it have to be composite? if you can get 5 wooden sticks for the price of 1 composite, do you think that will last you longer?
or maybe you'll prefer the wood feel
thasts bout all i can think of :D
hope this helps !

I think that the Warrior Dolomite is the best composite stick. It may be $160 but it is a stick that will last you for a long while. I like the Mac Daddy too but it's more for finess players and not as good as the Dolomite for slap shots and I like the soft-grip on the Dolomite.

Best stick in terms of performance I've used would be the Bauer Vapor XXX Lite, however it wasn't very resilient, meaning it broke down pretty quickly, almost like a wood stick. Second to that would be Synergy SL. I don't like the Stealths because they're too light.

Probably the best composite stick is the sticks made of only one material

I only use Eastons. Their Stealth is great but too expensive at retail. Try eBay, you can get a good deal. I got a Stealth for $90, Synergy's for $50-70. Bought 5 so far, haven't exceeded $90 yet for a brand new one piece.
