It is quite brilliant when you think about it. It fits right in between Survivor and ER forceing NBC and CBS to share Thursday. Stalemate.

Grey's Anantomy was just fine by itself...even up against something as good as CSI. I read the ratings in the paper at the start of the season & nothing came close to Grey's. It is extremely popular, and for obvious reasons.

No, not at all. I think Grey's anatomy is now more engaging. Desperate Housewives is becoming more desperate as time goes on, sadly.

No Grey's Anatomy was kind of a break out hit. I'm sorry that they moved it to Thursday nights now because I have nothing to watch on Sunday night now.

Not surprising at all. Grey's can very well hold out against CSI. It's quite a run for me though, coz I'm an avid fan of both shows.

Doesn't surprise me at all. I love Greys, it is a great stand-alone show.
Doesn't need help from any other to pull in the ratings.

Grey's seems to be strong enough on its own and is surving nicely in its new timeslot. Strong writing, multiple story lines, constantly evolving plots, and much romance is keeping it high in the ratings.
