Yep smoked all of those. Do you remember Sovereign, the sweepings off the factory floor or so it was suggested, and Guards when you wanted to look posh Sobranie (or some such spelling ) Black?

Cor blimey, I remember those!!!! My mum used to smoke No 6. Im sure it was the same company as Craven A who used to do a brand called Black Cat; that is what I used to smoke, so I think I will choose Craven A. I also remember No 10, Senior Service and Capston full strength, to name but a few. They also used to sell cigs in packs of five, and even sell cigs in singles. OOOh the good old days lol!

Craven A will bring the quicker onset of cancer, No6 are style personified but taste like potatoes. I don't recommend either, I think fruit is much healthier. Except for tomatoes. They're just flippin' vegetables in disguise. They don't fool me you know. And they change colour if you leave them out the fridge for a fortnight.

For me it was Capstan Full Strength, but, at 40 per day I was told to give up. So i switched to the American brand Kent. I got to 80 per day and was again told to give up. so i did. it took just three days. that all happened in 1975. i had a brief return to smoking in 1979, stopped again overnight and haven't smoked since.
