I know exactly how you feel. I have the same problem. It feels like you don't fit in at all, you don't know whats wrong with you at all, but you know something is different. Anytime you try to do something it doesn't seem fun or exciting so you end up bored.
Sound familiar?

Its a type of depression, something must be causing it. A recent death of someone you know, feeling lonely, something, anything.

I don't know the problem, i have it all the time. Its a mystrey to me as well. My advice talk to someone you trust, my mum helps, a special friend, someone you're close to and just spill your feelings. Or if it continues talk to a doctor. Most of the time they can help, but with depression its best to just talk about it. Doctors will just give you depression pills, thats it. And although they make you feel better its not helping. Talk to someone about all of your feelings about everything recently.
It will help, i promise, it helped me a lot.
I really wish you like, i know it feels horrible, and you just want to be like everyone else. Why does it have to be you with this problem, thats what i always think.
Good luck! Best wishes!!

Hi Kris,
If you have been depressed for a few days, try taking a long walk every day. walking helps curb depression.
Yes, I went through the crying at your age. If this keeps on, do see a Dr. then if you need a Specialist, they will know. The thing is, in my day, this wasn't thought much of, I mean being depressed in High School was thought to be normal, but in my case it wasn't.
I agree with the guy on here who said something is unfulfilling in your life. Think of what that might be.
also it's said that if you go through a traumatic event when young and it isn't resolved, it can follow you around in life. Maybe you went through a bad time when younger?

Try to get some help though! If you have an onsite School Psychologist you can take written tests that might tell the Dr. something. It's a start, anyway!
Depression can get worse and get you down so bad! Don't wait for this to happen, ok?
I think everybody gets depressed now and then, but, if it turns out being all the time, see your family Dr. and they can refer you to someone who deals in this area.

I'm behind you in this!

Honey we are all different no one is really normal. So I tell you have you discussed this with anyone? Look the good thing is you are old enough to look for help without parental consent. So check into a clinic for depresson. Look there's an answer for everything except death. You are going to be ok. Don't act like the victim. Let people in your life. And only you have the decision to make this hurt go away. Take Care.

Find someone to talk to. It sounds like you're clinically depressed, and you may need to discuss this with a counselor. Definitely discuss this with your parents or another adult that you trust, that feeling that everyone's judging you is something that they probably felt themselves.

I know that everyone expects 18 year olds to be obsessed with parties and sex and hanging out, but not all 18 year olds are that way. I wasn't, and I felt as isolated as you do. The fact that you're on the verge of a major life change just makes things worse. If you can just keep pushing through this, it does get better!

Being a teenager is really hard. It's not the best days of your life, especially if you're a nonconformist and don't enjoy the general "scene" of high school and college life. I was a total misfit in high school, but I kept telling myself that things would get better as I get older. College was a tad better, as I wasn't living at home and what not, but most people are still as immature and hooked on partying. But there are other people like you and I, we're just a bit harder to find. If you like reading, go hang out at a bookstore or join a book club; if you like history, join a history club. Basically, try and seek out activities that don't include partying, and you will find people like yourself. It will get better, someday everything will be okay.

Stretch, breathe deeply in and out, and don't let the tears bother you. If they didn't come, it wouldn't be you. Nothing's wrong with crying. Feeling depressed though, well, think of how to help yourself and others I guess. Maybe you feel something is unfulfilled in your life. Be patient. Maybe through your sufferings you will become a greater person. I know not whether you are much different from others but I sort of hope you are. I think conformity is boring.

You should seek professional help. Really you should. Something tramatic had to have happened to you when you were younger. Or maybe you were raised by some very strict parents...and you haven't been able to live up to their expectations. Somethings wrong with your relationship with you and your parents or maybe an exboyfriend. Or maybe you don't know what to do with your life....being a high school grad and all. You need to spill your guts to someone. Talk to someone...get it out in the open...right now.

When you cant take it anymore. You need to get out of that drawback. There is best such a lot you'll be able to take. Sometimes they move to cure however they dont difference that so much. They blame their emotional disorders on the whole lot to the factor that they lose recognize for you, your demands, or even dont believe unhealthy anymore for his or her conduct. Who needs to be handled like that? You deserve such a lot larger. There are individuals in the market so that you can deal with you with the affection and recognize you deserve.

How's your relationship with your family or your friends? Do you have a hobbie? I would say find something to do, focus on the one thing that you'd always wanted to do and go for it. Think positively of course. Depression is a serious thing, perhaps you can consult a doctor and have him/her prescribe you medication. Could be just some imbalance hormones.
