Except..
I believe most Black-American authors are boring and archaic. A+ in information, F- in entertainment value. You'll say "because you can't understand it!" no. I understand and it's very boring.

Rock 'n' Roll is basically black music, since it was derived from blues,
and so was country music. George Crum, the inventor of the potato
chip, was a Black American, and so was the inventor of open heart
surgery, Daniel Hale Williams. The inventor of the home video security
system was a Black American too. The list goes on and on. It depends
on what you consider awesome.

This is a really good question but honestly I'm a little disappointed at the answers. Everyone's taking this question at face value, MLK also gave us Freedom, Justice, Equality to stand up for ourselves and show the world all races are equal.

Thank you for the question, sometimes I too forget how I'm so lucky to be free and have friends of all races.
