A resting heart rate between 60 and 100 is considered normal. However, everyone's body is different, and a resting rate of 108 could be completely normal for you, but you might want to get checked by a doctor to make sure there's no underlying problem. Low blood pressure can cause an increased heart rate. Though it very well could be a harmless thing, like a sinus tachycardia, if you don't have any other symptoms like shortness of breath and you feel normal. Still, get checked by a doctor to rule anything else out and to make sure you're not at risk for any future cardiac problems because of this. All the best! :)

A resting pulse of 108 is high for any adult. You should see a doctor about this as soon as possible. Something's not right.

It's pretty high. I used to have a similar problem. For like a month my pulse would kind of race all the time. I went to the emergency room, and they ended up putting me on a beta blocker to prohibit any adrenaline from going to my heart. I made an appointment with my family doctor and she sent me for some tests at the cardiologist's. Everything was fine. Then my doctor diagnosed me with what I suspected I had all along: severe anxiety.
I got put on antidepressants which worked, but in the end, they weren't for me.
Now I am 26, married with 2 kids. I have controlled it by cutting out caffeine and exercising daily, and eating healthier.
I don't know if this is the case with you. But I would see your doctor.

I am 26+ 4 with my second, and had exactly/having the same problem. My blood pressure dipped to about 90/50 and was passing out. I have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Now I am not implying you have this, but I would definitely get this checked out. I was also told that drinking loadsa fluids i.e water will help raise your Bp a bit. Good luck and I hope its nothing too serious.

My resting pulse has always been high 80 to 100
It's probably stress. I would get a check up and have your thyroid checked that is also a sign of thyroid trouble.

If it is truly at resting, it is not healthy. It may become dangerous if you do not find the cause and treat it. A cardiac work-up would do you good.
