If you oppose illegal immigration because it's illegal, are you consistent? Do you turn yourself in when you speed? Are you completely forthright on your taxes? Do you obey so called "sodomy laws" which prohibit the most benign sexual acts even between monogomous, married couples?

If you oppose illegal immigration because somebody is living off of your tax dollars, have you ever benifited from a government subsidy? Food stamps, school grant, discounted federal student loan, attended a public institution?

Until there is a legal way to provide a sufficient amount of employees to fill the job demand ( especially those jobs americans won't do) I would not report anybody. Its really more of a political gig, than a real problem. Besides without illegals how are we to know our country is really safe from terrorists.

Honestly speaking yes. But the reporter a offshoot of the illegal immigrant will be come a natural citizen by virtue of his birth in that country that is the rule in many countries.

NO WAY! i am actually an immigrant. i came over with my mother 6 years ago and life here has been a hassle. since we are "illegal" i cant even get a driving license, and technically she cant either and she couldnt work either, but you gotta do what u gotta do. after six long years, we are finally getting attention from te immigration department and hopefully we will get a greencard so i can go to college.

A loaded question.

I'm not asking children of illegals to report their parents. I'm asking them not to expect a free life off of my tax dollars.

Illegals are freeloading off of our systems and need to return to their own countries. We have legal processes to allow immigration. Those processes are not perfect - but that does not justify illegal actions.

Do you support illegal immigration?I don't, however,I wouldn't report my parents. Since when are they actually doing anything about it anyway, more people just seen to keep coming in, instead of people going out.

As a law abiding citizen, it is my duty to report the breaking of any law, so yes, I would. It has nothing to do with respecting my parents.

Oh, and both my parents were born in this country, as were my mother's parents. My father's parents entered this country legally through Ellis Island.

Anyone who respects, obeys, and upholds the LAW is opposed to illegal immigration. That's what "illegal" means, get it? It isn't for us citizens to pick and choose which laws we will obey, let alone those who are NOT citizens.

Yes I would. I would also urge and assist them with becoming citizens LEGALLY. That way they can contribute to the country they love and wish to live in.
