Time Warp, so much fun.
Anything from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Check out this site for some cool party-participation ideas:

And this fabulous Halloween site, you'll find crafts, goodies, costumes, screensavers, decorations music and the list goes on:

And yes, "Monster Mash" would also be a great tune for the party.

Some songs with a scary tune:
"Uninvited" by Alanis Morrisette
"Enter Sandman" by Metallica
"X-Files" theme by Mark Snow (actually, if you can score the entire X-Files TV show soundtrack, it would make a great one to play, all their songs on there are, naturally, creepy)
"Firestarter" by The Prodigy

Classics:
"Monster Mash"
"Scooby-Doo" theme
"The Addams Family" theme
"BeetleJuice" theme
"Thriller" from Michael Jackson (ironically, this was before he himself ended up looking scary and weird in reality)
"Ghostbusters" theme
Themes from Poltergeist and other horror movies

I would download the soundtracks to famous scary movies. I would use movies pertaining to the generation of the party goers. Have fun!!

Anything trippy by the Flaming Lips will do just fine...

If you want something heavier, i'd go with tool or marilyn manson.
