the laptop isnt mine, so i wont be able to use it any more than a few minutes at a time, i also wont be able to load a cd or disk into it. is there an internet based software that i can use to recover deleted photos?

Sorry but I think nobody will be able to provide with any easy solutions,...
I think if its still in recycle bin you could try something like remote desktop (perhaps along Hamachi VPN client – to do it in safe manner) or any similar client/server software however if its not in Recycle Bin, data recovery generally might be extremely time consuming and expensive (up to ten of thousands of $). If it was some HDD failure as oppose to accidental delete you could try SpinRite, but it requires booting of removable media (CD, floppy, flash etc) and few hours to run,… ($87)

Just get a hammer and bash the crap out of it. The data will bounce out and you can collect it in a little bag.

Once you have the data in your bag, take it to the computer you want to transfer it to then stuff the data into the little holes in the back. Then you will have the data in your computer.
