I have a 1993/94 Mitsubishi Lancer 5spd manual sedan. A while ago a little light came up on the dash and won't turn off. It's an exclamation mark inside a circle and I can't work out what it could mean. It's not the park brake, that has a P in a circle, it's not oil, battery or fuel cos they all have other lights. It's not temperature - the gauge for that is working fine. It's been permanently on for about 9 months. Sometimes when the weather is really hot it will turn off for a little while. Does anybody know what that little light means?

May be one of your sensors that is acting up. I'd take it to a Mitsubishi dealer or a good trustworthy mechanic that knows imports. Good luck.

check the owners manual? go to an auto electrician? get a mechanic to check the earth wiring?
