If Kurt hadn't of killed himself I think he would be living a quiet life somewhere. He would probably release a solo album every now and then but he would be trying so despertatley to alienate his past audience that nothing he produced would ever reach any form of critical acclaim. He would have divorced Courtney and if he was alive today he would have had to given up the heroin. I think he would be doing alot of work to help people who are addicts because he once told his sister to "never ever try heroin", this shows that he didn't want to be the junkie he had become. He may have also made a few cameo appearences in Foo Fighters videos. I imagine there would be a few Nirvana shows performed here and there for nostalgic purposes (at say Live 8) and Kurt would learn to embrace his impact on music more without the drugs.

I really think that if Kurt were alive today, he would not be in Nirvana. I think that he would have moved away from the limelight and be writing poetry and maybe putting out a few very alternative solo albums.
I think that Kurt would be so disappointed if he could see what sort of music is in the Top 10 now.
He was a genius and is still missed. I could listen to his music forever.

I believe he would be on the same destructive path that he was leading while alive. Wallowing in his self pity. Brilliant musician but the drugs took over. He'd still be arguing with Courtney Love every time you turn around, but overall I don't think that he would be alive today.
