Getting married really depends on you. Not your age. Although it may seem like "everyone is doing it". Don't give in to that pressure. There is still plenty of time for you to find that special someone. You are still very young. Enjoy it! If you don't, you'll regret it.

I have a daughter that did not get married till age 30. She always said she would not get married just to be getting married. It would have to be someone so special and she is now married to a great guy. Our son who is now 30 just got engaged last week to a wonderful girl. I think older is much better because you have had a chance to experience life a little. Get married to young and you might start feeling like you missed out on things.

I say while being in your teens, that is pretty early to get married, I believe though, that you have to have everything in a good situation before you decide to make that step. finacially, emotionally and stablity are something that needs to be considered before you think about marriage, I'm your age, and as much as I would like to get married I want to make sure that I have all of those in control before I take that step, theres never really an average age to get married, but I think you need to have all of those in good standing before you take that step, I am only dating at this point, and I still need help to figure that out! lol. take care hope I helped a little=-)

I got married at 20. At that time, we had already been dating for 7 years.
I think the average age is a bit older than that. Late 20's, maybe closer to 30, even.

24 to 28 years. Then you still have time to plan a family and be young enough to enjoy them.

When you have found someone that you truly want to share the rest of your life with. Everyone may be marrying early, but they are also getting divorced early.
