Aren't celebrities just powerless against the Real Powers, the secret powers that control the media; the powers that can make, break, manufacture, or even kill off celebrities?

Why, you ask. There's a reason why puppet masters are called puppet masters.

If you are convinced that such a thing is happening, kindly name a celebrity and tell me how you think this celebrity was set up and had his or her character assassinated.

(Note: As usual, I'd reckon there'd be many skeptics out there. Oh well…).

It does seem like a concidence that some of the scandals happen just as the star is falling from fame or is simply needing a bit more ratings. I do think there is something to your theory. For example- Britney Spears and her looser of an husband. Was she really that stupid to marry him? I just am befuddled how these people can be so famous and yet be the worst decision makers on the face of the planet. Good question.

wow jordan has a new dilemma every week, and ooh look just in time to hit the next issue of a magazine
and those two dumb asses from big brother was made up, it was clear from a mile off. and now the man has admitted it, tho ofcourse if the price wasnt right then he wouldnt have,
the girl from BB had a new story every week, 1st they were in love, then they were gettin married then she had been dumped, then she wanted revenge, then she stll loved him, then she was over him.
thats about 6 weeks worth of storys there!

and being a michael jackson fan i have to point this out, a lot of the MJ rumours were started by him, pone that really sticks on my mind is the "MJ sleeps in an oxygen chamber". these were put out to keep the public talkin and to keep up his mystrious and unusual personna.

I think more now than ever certain members of the media, the public and celeb enemies are interested in embarassing the star. It used to be celebs had protection of all types from "private info" getting public. I blame it on simple money. The sales do not lie. The ratings do not lie. It is this societies fault. As much money as they make now I think it was the only way to make them seem more "normal or real'"...I feel sorry for every star right now. The public has become vicious and finicky and generally unkind. One minute they root for the star, buy the album see the movie...then out of no where they turn on them. This happens to non celebs too. Popular people in general always face more criticism than more quiet types.

Well I am like you, its all a gemic. Most of the time, but not all, these stars help make up these stories!! To draw attention to themselves to sell their movie, song, pics, clothes or whatever. If it doesn't sell & make them more money, I believe it helps to create their own downfall, or destruction, because for the love of the money is foremost on their mind, not their fans. I just look at them like this, they put their panties/underwear on just like all the other people in the world., no more no less. If they are good in a movie I will watch it again, if not I'll just change the channel. Its just a fantasy that the industry takes us too for a couple of hours people, they are not super human beings, just actors trying to sell something, ""Themselves"""

Some are based on little or no facts. Yes, the agents and so forth behind the scenes push these stories for publicity to their clients.
