i was infected by a virus. and i cannot access my registry. what should i do to enable my registry?

this is happening may be due to the virus.may be it has blocked your access to the registry.If you have an antivirus installed then update it from internet and run a thorough check on your system.

I don't know how your registry got "disabled". Really the registry can't be disabled but you might not be able to get to it. If you've already run antivirus software to get rid of the virus, you'll need to find regedit32.exe on your computer, or find a way to get the program from your windows install disks or microsoft.com.
