Yes,living plants do the slow cellular respiration.The decayed plants,do not because the living plants have the internal energy,and the decayed plant,no.Human beings,inhaled Oxygen,and exhaled Carbon dioxide,so do the living plants.

plants do conduct cellular respiration. plant need energy to do photosynthesis. plants do have mitochondria to produce energy and that energy is used during photosynthesis and transportation of food and water thru plant.

when palnts do photosyenthesis are give out energy, water and sugar
as there is lack of carbon dioxide at night and excess of oxygen,
plants use the oygen and the energy and the sugar to make co2 and water. that's why we all see the dew drops at in the morning on the leaves of the plants!!!=D
