A woman's self-esteem is often based upon her looks. She may feel fat or be self-conscious of her stretch marks after pregnancy but stick with complimenting and reassuring her. Be patient. Do the lights need to be on during lovemaking?
Surprise her with strivectin (helps fade stretch marks faster) and/or cocoa butter. Help her apply it, if she will let you. Work out with her - take walks with her, go for bike rides, etc. Try to make time for each other away from baby on a regular basis. Make these dates fun, relaxing, and playful (not pushing sex - just easygoing laughter). You will be surprised how she will appreciate this one day. Help her with baby and housekeeping duties (if you don't already).
Good luck - you sound like a keeper!

most women have horrible stretch marks and they love their body.
She can't think she is the only woman on the planet with stretch marks.
Her self confidence has to come from inside of her. You sound like a wonderful husband

This is her own personal feeling about herself........if she really wants to do something about it...then the only answer is tummy tuck, but only if she is finished having children. They do make a woman not feel self-conscious when naked or otherwise. Otherwise, you are going to have to just let her resolve these feelings about it........even though you say she's beautiful, she has to believe it!!

Keep reassuring her that it's not about her stretch marks and keep making her feel pretty. She'll get over it soon enough.

Wow thats a hard one to answer. Tell her to get over it. Thats what I would say. She should be comfortable enough around you not to act like that though. I would understand when it comes to strangers or family though.
