This has actually turned parts of the fountain pure white which I am trying to clean up. The original color of the fountain is adobe and made of concrete. So far, I have used pure vinegar, CLR, Zep Lime & Calcium Cleaner, even Muratic Acid. None of these products have phased the lime deposits. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing that could help me. ALSO, could I use a water-based stain to try and re-color the fountain?

Well you have used the stuff that I was normally worked for me.
However return to a regular Pool,Fountain,Spa , Ponds,Shop.
The chemicals you need will be what the pool and Pounds people use for Black Algie and Lime deposit.
This is some speciality problems that they handle a lot.
When I had a customer that had a fountain with similar problems.
I went directly to the Pond specialist that sold me the right stuff.
It was small bootle for stains and algie,Black Spots in Pools,Pounds,Fountains. It was good for cleaning it up.
Then had to add some other bactera preventive agents in the water once a week.
So good Luck:

You might want to check with a place that sells these types of fountains for an answer. Otherwise what about applying more concrete stain (usually you can buy it at a home repair or reno store) over the white parts rather then trying to wash it off?
It might be a case of the sun bleaching it rather then lime build up.

I might suggest you contact the cemetery or the guy that makes the stones......they get bad water deposits on them where we can't read the name even and our man here used this stuff that took it off right away, it just amazed us, it is worth a try. good luck-they are made of basically the same type of material I would assume
