No. At this point in time women are not allowed to fight on the front line. What is the point in forcing them in to a draft? Not to mention that would cause total chaos among a lot of politians. The cold hard truth is that our country isn't ready to send our women packing for the front lines yet. I don't know if that is good or bad. It feels bad that we seemly aren't good enough or strong enough to go on the frontlines, but it is great we don't have too.

The military is changing its prospective of women in combat situations, but that will be a long time coming before they allow a majority of its women to fight in combat.

The draft will never be reinstated, and it would take something short of a miracle to get women on the draft list....but if it were to happen I think that it would be awesome if women were drafted. In fact, I think that every american citizen should have to do a 2 year tour in the military ....the branch of their choice of course, but then maybe the U.S. would be a little bit better of a place.

Well, if every American adult is drafted... what are they going to do with the millions of children?

And considering women still aren't treated as equals in the military, I doubt it'll ever happen. There's a lot of jobs that women simply aren't allowed to do.

And no it's not fair. But neither is life. IT NEVER WILL BE FAIR. GET OVER IT.

If we have a choice then I would rather they did not. I associate woman with feminine attributes and seeing a woman in army boots is too much. I know woman are capable. We have them flying the space shuttle. If we do allow woman to be drafted then I hope that they are not put in harms way. In WW2 woman built a lot of the airplanes and tanks, etc. that won the war. Maybe we should have to do that again.

I don't think so. Just because young men get **** on doesn't mean women should too. I doubt I would have served but would probably have gotten away and been not locatable. That's one of the few things President Clinton did that I agree with. However, it might be harder for a woman to go through that.

Sure they should. Even if they don't get assigned to combat duty, they can still fill other jobs that would free up men for combat duty. But there is nothing preventing them from combat duty if they can handle the physical stress of it.

Yes they should. Of course they would have to be physically able to take the punishment and not a little dainty doll who would be more of a hazard thtn a help,
