Hi, Some mild cramping is perfectly normal :) Its your ligaments stretching and everything down there moving and growing to accomadate your little one. I started getting cramps at 5 weeks. Im now nearly 12 weeks and the cramps are still hanging around, every couple of days. Best of luck

yes a cramping sensation is normal. it might also feel like there is a little bit of pulling and tugging going on in there as the uterus starts expanding. if you are really unlucky (like i was) i had SEVERE intestinal cramping. my stomach and intestines would spasm and cramp so badly i was sick for weeks. i went to the dr and all they could suggest was that pregnancy hormones play havoc with your digestive system and i had to stick it out. you are allowed to take paracetamol, but always check with your dr. get used to all these weird feelings there will be many of them! good luck!

I also experienced this and it would worry me every time! I kept thinking it was a lead up to a possible miscarriage or something - i mean i never thought that one cramped like that during pregnancy!

HOWEVER at 16wks now with no problems this far (fingers crossed) it seems to have done no harm and alot of people have (now!! after my worrying! lol) told me it was common.

Best of luck!

Yes, expesieally if it is your first because all that change is new to your body and it is trying to adjust to it. It will pass, my doctor always told me if you are not bleeding with the cramps not to be concerned well even then it is hard not to.

Everyone is different I had them with all 3 of my babies, it just depends on your body, some go for months not even knowing they are pregnant, they are the lucky ones, best of luck to you and your baby!!
