I see your name is "b ball guy". Why not demonstrate a couple of basic basketball moves. Beats hell out of taking a chance a magic trick will go wrong.
"Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit outta mah hat!"
"But that trick never works!"
It's probably a short speech. Go with what you know.

Simple trick... maybe too easy
take penny
put it in your right hand
then fake place it on left hand
rub left hand on right elbow
put penny that is in right hand on neck
move both arms to show penny dissappear
