I was able to get ink out of a blouse once with plain old hairspray. I just sprayed it on and rubbed a bit and it came right off!

First try soaking the stain out in warm water overnight. Let dry. Apply a stain remover (Zout is good) and let it sit. Wash alone in warm water with soap (I oftentimes squirt a little bit of stain remover in with it as well as putting some on before the wash). If the stain remains, wash again.

It's the Alcohol in Hairspray that does the trick, so if you have this problem often then I would buy some denatured alcohol. It's probably a lot cheaper than using your hairspray and stronger too. Acetone (fingernail polish remover) can work too, but it can dissolve some synthetic fabrics.

you need finger nail polish remover...it can help....and treat it with spray and wash....but the shirt is more than likely trash now....its almost impossiable to get ink out...your best bet is going to be bringing it to a dry cleaners, they have harsh chemicals that may be able to break up the ink

You can try nail polish remover, alcohol, or hair spray. Sometimes dry cleaning fluid will remove it also. If not then you're pretty much screwed.

Hairspray!!!! Then rinse. Then more hairspray!!! then rinse. It works wonders. On clothes, hands, pocketbooks, surfaces. It's amazing. This should be common knowledge. Pass it on!!
