I'm still breastfeeding my 15 month old. She feeds maybe 5 times a day. I know if I reduce the feedings, it would probably help, but she's not wanting to do that, and I don't want to force it. I'm trying to get pregnant again. My cycle is irregular (so far, two periods between 40-50 days apart) and I'm spotting today, so I'm probably starting another one today. We had sex like at least every 4 days, but usually every 2 or more often, any advice about how I can get pregnant?

I would say first of all to ween your baby and get back on a regular schedule if possible. Your lactating could be causing some hormone issues and sometimes after having a child the cycle is disrupted for quite awhile. Being healthy and getting a physical is also a good place to start to make sure your in the best shape to get pregnant. My cylce changed after I had a child and I am always on a very long cycle. The easist way to begin is following your basal body temperature and seeing when it drops and then rises. When it drops you want to have intercourse as much as possible during this time to better your chances of conceiving. When the temp. goes back up is after ovulation has occurred, usually 98.5 or higher, then you are typically past the best conception time. There are inexpensive ovulation kits that are easy to use as well and not as difficult as the basal method. Look up Basal Body Temperature Method for more information.

My sister-in-regulation have been given pregnant presently after giving beginning to her first son on a similar time as breastfeeding. She persevered to breastfeed her first son for a million year on a similar time as being pregnant together with her 2d son.

If your cycle is back, then you are ovulating. There are ovulation predictor strips you can buy if your periods are irregular. Good luck.

Relax and have fun trying. Babies like to be conceived in love, and they like to pop up out of nowhere!

Try adoption. What better way to help a child in need especially when you are having so much trouble conceiving your own.
