I have a prom dress about a year and half old, only wore it for 4 hours and paid about $108 dollars for it, does anyone know any retail shops that might buy it?

A consignment shop would sell it for you and then you get a cut of the profits. Some chains in the midwest, at least, are Snooty Fox and Plato's Closet. But you can probably find some near you in the yellow pages.

you should look in your area for consignment shops. there is always ebay but wait till around prom time and take really good pictures. what my sister did was she managed to wear her $300.00 prom dress to like 10 different events (its great for formal night on cruises and new years parties) before she finally retired it (i think she would probably wear it again if she could get away with it). just make sure you don't hang around the same people.

Most thrift stores will buy prom dresses or you can put it in the local news paper.

Ebay: make sure you have a well lit picture of the dress, and any torns on it. Details, details, details, are very important.
