I had unprotected intercourse on the 15th of this month. My period isn't due until the end of the month, into the first few days of november. Should I treat that pregnancy test as if it were for real.....as in it really is negative? Or could I test positive if I wait a while longer?

if it were me, i would wait until about nov 1st to retest or you could go to your family practitionar to get a blood test, and thats only if your really stressing over it. But you should at least wait for your period,not assume

I think you are worrying about this way too soon. At least wait until you have your period. If you miss, than take another test, but if everything is on schedule you should be ok. Your body will usually tell you when something different is happening to it. With both my girls I knew I was pregnant. My first test with my oldest....positive in 30 sec...I knew. With my second, it was a little different. I was almost for sure I was pregnant, but I got two negative readings in the beginning. It was too early to be detected I guess. Than with the third, I finally had a positive. After the test and the doctor's confirmation....I was 6 weeks pregnant. ( I was 6 weeks with my first too). So just sit back and try not to worry too much. You will know soon enough what the outcome is!

Wait another two or three weeks and try another test, then you'll see for sure if you're pregnant or not. In my first pregnancy the doctor took a test at four weeks and it was positive, so I'd wait a little longer if I was you. It's a little early yet, only ten days.

From personal experience... you should wait at least 5 days at the earliest before your period is about to start. As you probably know there are pregnancy tests which can be used even before your due date.

I took 3 pregnancy tests ( and got my period once)
before it finally tested positive I was about 8 wks by then...not to worry you.

It is still pretty early so the result could be wrong. My first test was negative as i tested to early - am now 16wks along!
If in doubt i'd wait to see if you miss, even by one day, and try again!

Wait until your missed period. If you are worried about partying on halloween go ask for a blood test. That way you know you won't be harming your baby just your brain cells. :)

be patient and wait until your period is due. no need to stress unless your period is late.
