I'm so sorry you lost your friend. That relationship is over. Theirs probably won't last long...."mom" just needed an ego inflater for a bit. Her husband will soon see her aging just when the girls his age are getting really hawt. Just try to be peaceful...Mom will need you when he dumps her...in the meanwhile pursue things that will make you happy.

Don't count on him being a friend anymore. It just won't work. I'd say save up some money and get out of there before the crap hits the fan and they realize how incompatable they are and make your life hell. They'll put you in the middle of any argument they have.

Now you start a journal. Write in it every day even if you have to make stuff up. Five years from now you get a multimillion dollar book deal and time on Oprah. America just eats this stuff up.
