Keep in mind that I am a college student with relatively no money and not many resources. I'm just looking for some ideas of what kind of clothes that he use to wear that people might have in their closets around campus.

If you can find that Rosanne episode where she dressed up like prince on Halloween, that is what I think of when I think of him. That purple velvet outfit? Go to the Salvation Army Thrift store or a Goodwill, and you can piece together things that you could easily alter to attain the look your after! Sounds like fun! Good luck!
