I think she's too old to be a flower girl, maybe a reader. You could pick a passage from the bible or a poem or song and have her read it.

a 10 year old can be anything u want her to be... when me and my husband got married we both have 5 kids all together, 2 for him and 3 for me.. his 10 year old daughter was my Bridesmaid, my daughter 5 was the flower girl , his 11 year old son was the best man, and my sons 12 and 13 were the groomsmen.. they were our bridal party.. Thats whats so great about weddings u can do anything u want, its YOUR wedding..

She can be a flower girl, bridesmaid.. maid of honor.. anything, heck id even say she could be a ring barer, who says it has to be a boy???? all it is , is someone carrying a pillow with rings on it..

So do anything u wish, shes not to old or to young for any part of the ceremony..

I heard about one wedding where a six year old boy was part of the wedding. As his turn came to march down the aisle, he'd stop every couple of feet, raise his arms and make a face and shout "Raaawwwrrrr!".

When he got to the altar, the priest quietly asked him what he was doing.

"I'm the Ring Bear!"

if you have a 10yr old boy you could have a minature bride and groom... that's what my cousin and I were at our aunt and uncles wedding so many years ago.....or the guest book person, they make sure everyone signs in when they go to sit at the wedding... I was also this when I was about 12 at my other aunts wedding,

She can stand by the Guestbook & ask your guests to sign the guestbook or she can greet your guests at the church and bring them to the ushers to be seated. or she can be an older flower girl. :) My daughter was my flower girl when she was 9.

How about cleaning the mess up after everyone is gone. There are dishes to be washed, floors to be mopped, etc.
