My friends and I were tighter that ever last year. However, over the summer many many things happened and bonds were broken and strengthened and mended and destroyed again. Now the School year is in full swing and things are only getting worse. The animosity between us is so great, other people can clearly see something is wrong. It doesn't help that we are in all the same clubs (In fact, we are the presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, etc. of all of the clubs we belong to) I feel like all of these issues are building up and affecting our performance as leaders. How can I get everyone to talk to each other in a civil manner so we can all hash out our problems together? Is it too late?

Sometimes we get sick of eachother. It happens. The best thing to do is to not mix too much outside of your clubs, then when you are in clubs and someone says something mean, giggle slightly under your breath but notable as if it really were funny (not sarcastic) and immediately change the topic back to something to do with the club.

Your friends will soon see that you are in no mood to quarrel, and after they cool off for a while (think months, not days) you can slide back into the picture comfortably with no loss of face.

I was in the same situation as you, and although the whole "You can't go home again" thing applies once you leave school eventually, you will still be able to call these guys your friends years later.

A good way to break the ice is write a letter. If you want everyone to know that you sent the letter to others at the bottom put: CC: . This is usually effective because you can get your entire point across without interruption. In this letter you should not point the finger to anyone, it's best to accept responsibility for your part of the "mess" and then leave it the door open for reconciliation. It's never too late to attempt repairing a relationship that's worth saving. However, everyone may not be as willing to correct things.

lock everyone up in one room, spill your guts and say your feelings, then you guys will make up and have a stronger relationship than you had before, because everything is out in the open and there are no secrets or things to keep from one another. tell your friends what you do and dont like about them, come to a comprimise, and then heal over.

kinda like an open-heart- brain surgery. :)

it's never too late. just talk to them or else your feelings are just going to keep bottling up inside, unitil you have to let it all out at once. BAD MOVE...
just sit them down and say what is on your mind. if they are your friends, they will try to make things better and such
