on answers...I've gone "head to head" with some of these mouthy little teens (even violated by one) only to look back and find they are only 12 and 13, wondering where their parents are and do they know what strong, foul, judgemental things are comming out of their mouths (or key boards)???

There called spoil brats ! I am pretty sure they don't express themselves in that manner when their parents are aware of what they are up too.

Hmmm. Well, it would seem that you have run across situations where it is important that you retain your dignity and maturity.

I have too. That is pretty much how adolescents have always acted when they were unsupervised and able to get away with it. They are forming their own identities and try to test the boundaries. Sometimes they are venting, sometimes they are screaming for attention.

The best thing to do is respond in a mature fashion, and if they don't get the message, then don't let them draw you into an argument. Adolescents are subject to adolescent games of primacy every day with their friends. Even an unskilled adolescent game-player has enough time on a computer to come back with some response they think will make them "winners" at some childish game.

They really hate being ignored, and will move on to another in time.

On the other hand, there are many very nice young people on the Y!A boards, and if they have a question, I will try to help them on the board. It's just that a few of the others who want a lot of attention, that are more noticeable than the ones who will be there bosses in the future.

They are young. They will grow up. Just be kind and mature in your conversations with them. Be a good example. I try to. Maybe sometimes I am. It certainly feels good to try to do good and be better.

P.S. Sometimes it is "adults" who post childish questions and answers. Fortunately, the FBI is monitoring this site, and has the tools to go around the answers system, and find IPs for questionable people, even if they use a relay network.

The parents are aware, but ....

There are two kinds of parents -- one who is involved and caring -- and if they do discipline their children (who have the nasty attitude problems), then the teens go call Children's Services and say how "abused" they are -- all because they do NOT want to take the "punishment" of no TV or DVD or MP3 or Cell or not being able to have their so-called 'friends' in the home -- and you know what -- DCF DOES torment these parents mercilessly.

The OTHER kind of parent does NOT care -- these are the kids that are causing all sorts of trouble everywhere -- and if you make a comment -- WATCH OUT -- the parents go after YOU for saying something. These kids have NO RULES, no discipline in the home and learned from a VERY Early age that it is OK to be prejudiced, nasty, rude, antagonistic, abusive, and violent -- and have no consequences for their behaviors.

...never ejaculated....if he was wearing a condom, how do you know? And why would he bother to have sex and not have an orgasm?
Do yourself a favor and stop having sex until you grow up a little bit more.

Additional comments added after this twinkie gave me best answer just to call me a dumbas$...

Well Sweety, if you're "old enough",why in the world are you asking such a juvenile question in the first place?

By the way, I figured you had eyes, but DOWN THERE TOO?!!

Before I forget. When you put your business out here for all the world to see,you make it everybody's business. Dumbas$!

Yeah, teens really make my day! That's why I was a substitute teacher for two years.

I'm sure they speak this way to their parents.

Kids of today are being raised with no instruction at all. How they will manage to hold a job, take care of themselves (without being a crook) and heaven forbid run the country is beyond me.

Take their answers with a grain of salt. And everyone is a little more brazen on the computer.

You can sit in the quiet of your bedroom and speak with people all over the world. And you can say anything your little heart desires and there is no one around to say no that is inappropriate.

Most teens are too selfish to care. Their opinion is the most important thing in the world to them. Their behavior wont be so tolerated in the real world.

Those are teens that run their parents and have no respect at all...where are the parents too, when they are having sex...that is so young....some parents don't care as long as their kids aren't bothering them...
