I'm not normally someone who supports a one-issue voter, but stem cell research is such an important issue! Scientists have called it 'the holy grail' of all medical research. The problem is that basically no Republicans support it and some Democrats don't either. But these are the only two options in America today. Without knowing where you are from, I can only tell you to research your local representatives and see how they feel about the issue. In general, for this issue, your best bet is Democrat.

Wow!!! Great insight into the modern American mind...
All of the above failed to ask you a question ...
Do you mean Stem cell research??? If so ALL Republicans are FOR it and the only person I have seen vote against it was the senator from Maryland who is a Democrat. ( Ben cardin)
If you are asking about EMBRYONIC STEM CELL research Which has NEVER been successfully tested on a HUMAN because it continuously creates carcinoma (cancerous tumors)in lab animals, then most Republicans are not against it continuing with the Embryo's already in use.Aswell as the fact that private and state funding will still be legal (it is only federal funding that will be ended for NEW research) However, they do not want humans to be cultivated for medical purpose's knowing that there are other much much more promising ways, such as, ADULT stem cell research and NEO NATAL cord blood stem cells which, unlike embryonic stem cells, HAVE been used to treat and cure over 66,000 people of over 6,000 diseases.
Seriously.. please look into this further than any crap you see here, and on T.V. As you can see there are big differences between the three options and you are only asking about one. In all fairness you where probably only told that it is all the same, but it isn't.
If you look into this info farther you will see Dr.'s and investors will not spend any money on EMBRYONIC stem cell research because IT DOESN'T WORK and never has. Why continue federal funding for something that has NO proof, while other methods have proof of working?? ...Thats lunacy.....
ANOTHER VICTIM OF THE MEDIA MIS INFORMATION CAMPAIGN.

You need to be careful here. Most candidates are in favor of some level of stem cell research. Some want all stem cells to be fair game. To figure out you need to look closely at their words.

I think you should get more information on 'stem-cell' before you vote. The reason they want research is because they don't even know if it will even have any benefits.

Since we can't tell where you are, we can't tell you who the best candidates are. But it's a foregone conclusion that they all have web sites. Look there.

If that doesn't help, then in general, those who advocate for the Religious Right are most likely to be against it. Most Democrats are for it, but not all.
