you don't have anything to lose, you just had a baby, and now you have a big badge of honor. It should make you proud. You could park farther away from the store, have short walks with baby after recovery, eat portioned meals, and be active with your child, it means a lot

Hi, from my own experience, after having the C-sections, I wear tight jeans/pants that would support and compress the sagging belly. Go for about 1 hour walk a day. After a year or when ever you feel comfortable, do pilate exercise that focus on tummy muscles. I find pilate really works! Looking good is hard work and it takes time, but be patient.

My daughter is 4 months. My doctors told me to go with weight watchers and around my daughter's 2 month mark I was able to start light work outs. Now I am doing Peek-A-Boo Sit Ups with her...its fun for her and great for me! The doctor (along with many others) said it'll be at least 6 months after having her til I really notice any results. In the mean time, at least I'm losing weight and almost beginning to fit back into my fat pants so no more maternity wear soon...yay! Best of luck!

First ask the Doctor when you can ab workouts first. When you get the ok Do your ab workouts on a excercise ball, you get the best results on a excercise ball then lying on you back. do this 3 times a week and eat healthy meals and you should see results. I had a C Section my self and this is what I did and my belly is gone. Remember it takes time, cause you just had a baby.

First, make sure you are healed enough to exercise. Second, get a copy of "Lose Your Mummy Tummy" by Julie Tupler and DO the exercises (especially the pelvic floor and transvers ones).
Good luck!

LOL! That and the meaning of life - the world may never know! Stand up straight and find some forgiving clothes. If anyone offers a suggestion that actually works, patent it!

Oh man. First of all, you need to be completely recovered from the surgery before you do any stomach-straining exercises. Once your ob-gyn says it's okay, diet and exercise, both cardio and weights. And crunches, hellish crunches. Give yourself time, but remember you can do it.

weight watchers is working for me i had two c sections. If you can not afford weight watchers go to kraftfoods.com that will work also they go by your age weight and frame. They give you tips on exercise and they give you recipes specifally for your diet.
but if you just recently go one wait till all the staples are out and weight till your up to it.

Ha, I'm sure dieting and exercise (crunches and things like that) would help but I have yet to find time to exercise with a new baby.
