the church where we go to is fixing his house,gave him a car,knew roof on house knew water pump,paid realestate taxes and more.yet when i asked if the church could help a friend of mine that is homeless.they told me to tell him to see the red cross.what do you think is going on here?

I agree with jac to a degree ... but differ on one very important point!

1) Unfortunately, in the eyes of some churches and some christians, not everyone is equal, or as one might say, some are more equal than others.

2) In God's eyes, all people ARE equal, AND he very much exists!!

Now, in regards to your church helping out the friend, it could be because they are members and the homeless person is not, and again, unfortunately, some churches, and some christians, are that way ... they take care of their own, but feel other people are someone else's problem. I would point blank ask the pastor why no help is being given to this homeless person.

In the meantime, to contact the Salvation Army, they do a lot of good work in regards to the unfortunate. Also, see if your community has a local homeless shelter or mission ... usually these are run by a group of churches, but they help anyone.

Sounds like to me either him or his grandmother has friends in high places.If your church refuses to help someone who is homeless they don't sound very christian do they?

not all people are equal in the eyes of the church , but only in gods eyes and he do not exsit
