Since you cannot use the monitor how are you going to read this comment? All you could have done is verify both connections, turn off the whole system it should recognize the problem as it comes back on and fix it. Write me and I'll try to help you.
God Bless you and the Southern People.

You may have a faulty lead, can you try another monitor on your pc? basically go through a series of logical steps to identify the problem.. different lead, same monitor etc.
Thats the best I can suggest !!

it is going to matter if your video card in the computing device helps twin video reveal contraptions. If it does then flow to the administration panel and to reveal residences. If it quite is XP flow to the settings tab go with the 2d reveal screen and verify the container that announces strengthen my laptop to this reveal screen. If it quite is Win 7 in the administration panel choose for reveal, then exchange reveal settings, and alter the container by distinctive reflects so it says strengthen those reflects. If in the two case you basically see a million reveal screen pictured then your card does no longer help twin reveal screen.

is the monitor pluged into the wall and the computer?
and do you push the button on the monitor to turn it on?
or push one of the setting buttons on the monitor, maybe its brightness is all the way down so it always shows up black

I had this happen two weeks ago - same monitor issue - and it turned out that the internal fan was clogged (dusty) and had stopped working. Once I cleaned it out it all worked again.

If your computer is not working properly when it is switched on, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
