I've received $50 from my mother and father-in-law as a gift for my birthday. However, I give my children $100 on their birthdays. I think it is inflation!

I think $100. I got checks for more when I graduated HS, but for the average birthday (at least since I kinda became an "adult"), I get the standard $100 from my grandparents.
