(sorry if i put way too much)BRAND NEW is awesome i luv them so much!(i think they rock but see not alot of people i know even know about them its not like they're new or anything in the music world they've been around for some yrs)btw my fav song sung by Brand New is "Jude Law An A Semester Abroad" but ok the video for "Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades" i have seen the video but i don't really undersand 100% but it doesn't bother me at all cuz i just watch it cuz i luv them and that song but that video ok i am guessing kinda to help you.like its hard to explain but he walks in to that place and he starts to realize everyone is following what he is doing like he is controlling everyones moves. and he can't really help it.and then he starts to kinda test it like making all the other people push their glasses off the table and stuff. But then that girl (which if you noticed on her shirt was a white like lamb or whatever and when he first walked into the place that white lamb was on the door...so maybe that was a sign for him in the video she would be there..)anyways he already knows he can kinda control others movements and so he tries to control hers like you know sliding her strap off her shoulder.so he kinda of took advange of whatever it was he could do.and then someone else(some guy)starts controling his movements. and then he kinda shows him he did wrong or something(by moving his hand across his throat)i don't know i know i prolly didn't help you at all i guesss the moral of it may have been don't control others and even if you can control them don't take advantage of them cuz what comes around goes around.i don't know i just luv the song and the band.

You can interpret it in many ways.
It begins with him running away from something and then you see him go in the bar and everybody does the same thing.
I guess he explains how everyone follows the trend and sometimes you do things just cause everyone else is doing them.

and btw they're called "brand new" not the brand new =]
