My brother, Daniel, recently got into a car crash where a drunk driver ran a red light and hit him. He was in critical condition until last week and now he's still in the hospital but in better condition, but still real bad. I am wondering, because he loves sports so much is it possible he still is able to play his favorites when he gets out - bball, swimming, water polo, ect. And also, we were planning to apply for colleges together this year, he's a senior and I'm a junior both in high school, do you think that's still possible?

Well first off, that is wonderful that your brother is getting better. You sound like you are a very concerned sister, which is very understandable. I would say that right now at this time the most important thing to focus on is him getting better. It is going to take some time for your brother to get back on his feet after an accident like that, so as his sister the best thing you can do for him right now is just be by his side. I'm sure everything will work out.

Depends on the extent of his injuries. Even still if a person is determined, despite terrible injuries there is a way to still participate in the things you always have. Look at those guys in Murderball. They play basketball from wheel chairs!

Im sure he will be just fine, perhaps he will need a bit of physical therapy, but as long as he has determination and hope he should recover!

Good luck to you!

It depends on how bad he is. Some of the more physical sports he might not be able to play. Hopefully he doens't have any really bad head injuries or that might change things, as for college anything is possible. I wish you guys the best of luck though.

Everything will be OK he will get back into his sport. He will be able to attend college this year. Have faith in his strength and be there to help him have the strength to get past this hurdle. good luck

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD, JUST KEEP PRAYING FOR HIM, IT REALLY DOES WORK. I WILL SAY A PRAYER FOR DANIEL TONIGHT, BEFORE I GO TO BED.

People say: "anything is possible if you just believe!" so maybe if you pray and believe!
