I'm a nurse. Fitness has nothing to do with pregnancy. I've seen a 55 year old woman give birth to a child. It has to do with when a woman goes through menopause. As long as a woman has her period she can become pregnant.

Ok Madonna is more fit than a lot of these little 20 year olds running around, so hell yeah! Let her make more pretty little rich kids!

No. she's a nutjob. Why would she go all the way to AFrica to adopt a kid. Do you know that black babies in America are the least likley kids in the world to be adopted? Why didn't she go to some Detroit or St. Louis area orphanage? Why would she go all the way to the middle of Africa, if not for the publicity? Belive me: she is a lightweight and a nutcase. I pity the kid that she adopted.

There are athletes who are not as physically fit as Madonna!
Now, whether or not women should be having kids on the shady side of 50 .. well, that's another question.
Visualize the kids in school: hey, is that your grandma? No....sigh...that's my Mom.

Yes, definitely. Ability to have a healthy pregnancy is based on fitness level. She is fit.

She might be fit enough, but it all depends if she has gone through menopause or not. If she's post-menopausal she won't be able to get pregnant naturally.

Of course she is - she is one of the fittest and healthiest women in her age range. Hell - she is fitter and healthier than about 90% of the worlds population!
