No problem.
I've done it in Word. The setup should work the same.

File
Page setup
Margins -- set them
Paper tab -- set it for index card 5 x 8

Printer -- remove letter paper, load the 5x8s, and move the paper guide up against the cards.
You may have an adjustment on the side of the printer for heavier paper, unless it adjusts automatically.

That's it.

Check your printer documentations and verify that it can handle the thickness of an index card.
For Windox XP go to
Start-control panel- printers...-Right click your printer-printer preferences- paper size- 5 x8 ...and....
have a nice day.

File ---> Page setup ---> Source, Size, Orientation tab ---> Adjust the height and width to 5 and 8.
Test it on a regular sheet of paper so that you know how to insert your cardstock.
