Turn off all phone and distractions, get dress up and go out for a early dinner then instead of going room rent a very nice hotel room with a Jacuzzi tub and soak together while talking and taking turns washing each other and then turn in to the bedroom ; )
Candles are key to set the mood. If money is an issue you can have a romantic dinner at home and still have a the mood set.

Maybe dinner at your guys favorite restaurant or maybe you two could stay home and make his favorite meal and then rent a movie and cuddle up together on the couch and just enjoy being with each other.
